Mithras the Jellicle. I’ve wanted to use the name for more than two years, and I knew he had to be a gold and silver cat…just not sure what pattern to use. Finally settled on sunburt-blotches and crescent rosettes. I was really unsure on the eye color…blue was my first instinct, but I wanted a more natural color for a feline, and eventually settled on green. He’s named after a mysterious Persian god who was worshipped by a very macho cult in the Roman Empire and who is always shown killing a big white bull.
